Question time! Let's stretch our imaginations, which car do you want to have a wagon version? Any answer is valid, I just want to know what do you think :-)
For example, I think a Mustang Wagon and a Chevrolet SS wagon would be great for all humankind:

Every Mid-Engine supercar in the world.

The world does need a mustang wagon, but we can live without the the SS wagon. Don't need a SS wagon when there is a Cadillac wagon

Cadillac wagon is dead at the moment. Doubt it will make a comeback.

You sir, earned a well deserved star

If Cadillac ever want to make a serious attempt at the European car market, they'll have to bring it back—along with wagon versions of pretty much every car in their lineup. And a good few diesel options.

j lo mustang? That ass

When did Cadillac ever make a Wagon?
This one doesn't count, coachbuilt

All. Of. Them.

Make it AWD and America would have a formidable Ferrari FF fighter (at a fraction of the cost).

Wouldn't an SS wagon be eerily similar to a CTS-V wagon?
![]() 07/16/2014 at 10:06 |

Neither stands even the slightest chance in this (European) market without a wagon option. And multiple diesel options.

Wow, that vintage Skyline wagon is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

A very realistic answer: 2.0 Turbo 6-speed Manual Buick Wagon, at 3600 lbs. If that doesn't rustle your jimmies...
They already are 90% of the way there with the Opel Insignia Country Wagon, they just need to import it over to the US.

I WAS JUST GONNA SAY THIS
Just yesterday after the C627 announcement, I noticed this is IN PRODUCTION from Callaway. You can seriously buy this already. HOW ARE WE NOT TALKING ABOUT THIS?!
(Sorry, slightly excited)

The friggin' GTI/GLI. All the parts are there, they just need to make it happen.
Bonus points for going full R-spec.

This with a stick is awesome.

not a wagon needs to be about a foot longer behind the rear wheels.

Which car DOESN'T need a wagon version. I and I mean station wagon, rear facing seats and all.

Well, the Murano CrossCabriolet is a good example of car that doesn't need a wagon version :-)

The Murano CrosCabrio Estate.
![]() 07/16/2014 at 12:25 |

This is a hatchback sedan.
This is a wagon.
(Or, where I live, a hatchback saloon and an estate.)
![]() 07/16/2014 at 12:38 |

You know the difference between a Mondeo Estate and a CTS Hatchback? A Mondeo has actual luggage space.

VW needs the Passat to have a wagon again. The previous gen sold a good amount, I see a LOT of them around here. Our '08 is awesome, and in a few years it will need replacement. The Jetta wagon is too small. Don't want an SUV. Have very little options.
![]() 07/16/2014 at 12:45 |
|
In terms of profile, regardless of any luggage-space deficiencies, it still looks more like an estate than anything else.

Still not a proper Wagon to me.

Ford Fusion, especially frustrating because it already (technically) exists and is beautiful.
